Welcome

a warm welcome to the brewers arms

The Brewers Arms is a family owned and run free house situated on the high street of the historic market town of Lewes in East Sussex

There has been a pub situated on the site since the 16th century and the current owners the Griffin family have been at the helm since purchasing the pub back in 1994. The pub has seen notable success in that time with Pub Of The Year awards in 2012, 13, 15 & 18 from the Brighton and South Downs Camra branch.

The pub is split into two bars with the front being a snug and relaxed eating area with an open fire, a selection of excellently kept cask ales and real ciders.

The back bar is a spacious room away from the noise of the high street and has ample space for large families wishing to dine. There is also darts, pool and a toad-in-the-hole table. At the rear of the back bar there a small secluded south facing garden, which during the day sees plenty of sun.
